Topic: Checkboxes missing

I have a PDF that has a few form fields on it - some of them are checkboxes. Most of the time, for most users, these checkboxes work just fine (ie. they display and print correctly). However, some users seem to have problems both viewing and printing these checkboxes. In some cases, the check boxes are empty once they print it. In others, it doesn't even show up in the preview screen (and doesn't print). We were able to "solve" it for one user by having him print to a different printer. However, this really isn't an option for most users since most don't have a secondary printer they can use.

The font I'm using is one of the default fonts that is supposed to be included with Acrobat Reader.

Has anyone run into this before? Do you have any fixes/workarounds?

Thanks,

-Paul

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
