I scan and save several pdf files daily. I have people that would like to get a multipage tiff file instead of a multipage pdf file on CD. I am using Acrobat 3.0 with Capture. I recently purchased BCL Freebird 2.01. I find that it is painfully slow (95 pages took 37 minutes). Does anyone know if a later version of Acrobat with a later version of Freebird is any faster? The people who have requested the tiff instead of pdf think that a tiff is more legally defensible because it is not editable. Is this true?
