As long as you print to color-separated PostScript initially, then the traps
set in QuarkXpress will be in the resulting "plates".
When Distiller makes PDFs from pre-separated PostScript, it is really only
processing Black and White "plates" that have color names assignedd to them.
The Distiller will not change the shape or size of elements on those plates,
so yes, the traps will be in the color separated PDF.
