Topic: Images print negative in PDF

Hopefully someone has run across this probelm and knows what to do.

I have a collection of PDFs I created using the PDFWriter plugin in Word 2002. (Acrobat 5.05) On my machine they display and print fine, and on most of the other machines I have tested them on as well. The problem I am having is that some of my users are printing these PDFs and the images I embedded (black and white tiff line art) are printing negative (blacks are white and whites are blacks.) The error doesn't seem to be because of a printer because I have people getting the error with ink jet, laser, postscript and nonpostscript printers; but not everyone. It's strange and I was wondering if anyone has run across this or if there is a way to fix it. Thanks!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
