I am trying to stop users from caching pages from the server side. I have used the "Cache-control" "no-cache" header that is being added by IIS 5.0, which works by not saving documents to users local machines, but it does not work when serving Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) File pages over SSL. It works fine for pdfs over straight http:.

Without forcing user browser settings, or changes to the client configuration is there a way to force pdfs to be transmitted over SSL and restrict caching?
Many thanks for any guidance. I am really stuck.
