Position in Sacramento, CA. The Boeing Company.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the supervision of personnel performing document imaging and conversion tasks. These tasks include document inventory/preparation, scanning, image cleanup, optical character recognition, quality assurance and data verification, conversion to deliverable file format, and distribution via CD ROM or network server. Responsible for efficiently coordinating the completion of multiple document imaging and conversion projects to include establishing and monitoring project quality standards, work scheduling and job cost tracking. Assists in the preparation of cost estimates and proposals to support new business development activities.
Qualifications: Position requires strong oral and written communication skills, problem solving abilities, and some experience as a team leader or workgroup supervisor. Knowledge of imaging systems, tiff editing/graphics programs, and OCR processes required. Familiarity with MS Office/Windows NT operating environment and use of standard office equipment required. Ideal candidate will have at least one to two years of relevant document imaging experience in a high volume production environment.
