Topic: capture 3.0, 600 dpi image problem

I am having problems with Capture 3 - it is converting 600 images to 300 dpi when I pass through a file for conversion/OCR to image + text. I am not setting the export to PDF template to 300 dpi (it is set to none - whic should pass through the original resolution of the image). The problem seems to be happening in the Capture workflow/process - believe it or not. Any help on this would be appreciated. TIFF images are coming from a XEROX Digipath system.
