It is difficult to retain accurate screen colour when going through Quark because it is so concerned with PRINTER colour. It will convert all colours to CMYK. But the rules for showing CMYK will be different in Acrobat and Quark.
Some tips:
1. As Stuart suggests, DON'T distill EPS files, distill PostScript files. This avoids three important limitations of Quark EPS: no fonts, page size problems, one page per file.
2. Select "Colour unchanged" in Distiller job options.
3. If designing for screen display rather than printing, avoid Quark, or find the option in XPress which allows RGB output.
