If you use Acrobat 4.0 (not Exchange) then you'll see an Annotation pallette in the left hand side. Click the icon to the left of the trash can (bottom of the pallette) to Rescan the Document.
You should see a tree-list style interface that has all of the notes listed under the Author's name.
Click the triangle in the top right of the pallette to display the pop-up menu. Select the group by Type menu option.
Having done this, select the Note parent in the tree-list, right-click, and choose to delete all annotations.
