I am working with a HS textbook publishing company who are converting their textbooks to electronic editions. I have created a dynamic flash 'virtual library' that launches the books, the flash library detect which books are installed and which are not and adjusts itself to diplay the proper grade level. I am using flash to launch pdf on the pc. However the mac, I cannont use flash directly to launch a pdf, so I have converted the flash to a mov and am hoping to layer buttons over the mov to launch the grade levels, it wont work exactly the same as the pc (being dynamic and all) but the look and feel should be similar.
