Topic: a tool which automates & generates PCL code?

Hi all

Is there a tool which automates & generates PCL code?

What I need to do is we have print code in VB.
Each time a file is sent to print, the code calls & sets printer overlay files stored in our lexmark printers.
The VB strings that set the overlay files are written in PCL code & were written before my time
therefore I dont know the language.

I need to write additional print code required to comunicate to the printer using PCL.
I dont know PCL & thought there may be an easier way to obtain the PCL code for what I'm attempting to write.
Any ideas or suggestions - thanks in advance Diana
