Has anyone experience any trouble printing a postscript file via Printfile to distiller?

The first error I get is:
Error writing to c:\pdf\*.pdf for Document PrintFile - Printoutput.ps: The file name, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect

I have an option to retry, so I retry.
A second error box comes up and over and over again if you hit retry:
Error writing to c:\pdf\*.pdf for Document PrintFile - Printoutput.ps: The handle is invalid

This all worked in 4.0, the upgrade to 5.0 messed it all up. Any suggestions, is it the naming convention that PrintFile assigns to PrintOutput.ps by adding "PrintFile -" in front of it??

Any suggestions or workarounds would be much appreciated. I'm burnt out.
