I try to insert an annotation into a pdf. The way I have to follow is to insert a postscript piece into a postscript file and then send the file to a distiller to generate the PDF. The construction of the annot likes this:

/Type /Annot
/Subtype /Line
/Rect [ 36 498 648 1506 ]
/M (D:2001124135850-06'00')
/L [ 202.96001 498.03 315.03999 498.03 ]
/BS << /W 2 /S /I >>
/T (Cycle 1 )
/F 68
/C [ 0.502 0.502 1 ]
/Contents (line)

It is no problem for acrobat to display this annot, but I do not know why acrobat reader can not display the annot? Any explanation?? Or shall I define AP key for the annot? what is the simplest way to do that in postscript??

I tried to add
/AP (202 498 moveto 315 498 lineto stroke)
to my postscript, I did see the annot on acrobat reader, but a new problem is that I cannot delete the annot on acrobat anymore.

Thanks in advance
Bond
