Hi:
I try to convert the ms word 2000 to pdf in the batch process. I wrote the code using vb6, then I made the execute and try to set the job schedule in window2000 system to run the job at night without anybody logon. I got the message in the morning say "Acrobat PDFWriter Error Acrobat PDFWriter has encounted an error in its programming. We apologize and ask your help in troubleshooting the problem............
PDFWriter 4.0 file umpd.c line 350 and so on...."
But if I set the job to run when I logon the machine, the job run ok.

Can PDFWriter convert the ms word files in the real batch process without anybody logon the machine?

The below is my coding:

Dim objWord As Word.Application
Dim strDefaultPrinter As String

Set objWord = New Word.Application

strDefaultPrinter = objWord.ActivePrinter

objWord.Visible = True

objWord.WindowState = wdWindowStateMinimize ' Set word to minimize

objWord.ActivePrinter = "Acrobat PDFWriter"

objWord.Documents.Open strWordPath

'******* the PDF stop here when try to print in batch process
objWord.ActiveDocument.PrintOut OutputFileName:=strPDFname, PrintToFile:=True

Sleep 1000
objWord.ActiveDocument.Close False

objWord.ActivePrinter = strDefaultPrinter
objWord.Quit
Set objWord = Nothing

Thanks.
