Topic: Colors disappearing from charts in pdf writer pdfs

We are using the TeeChart active X control to insert graphs into pdf documents using pdf writer 4.0. This is all being done within a Visual Foxpro application. The application runs fine and produces full color charts on the pdfwriter printer ( the .pdf files show colored charts on opening after running the application) from the development machine. However when we transfer the application, including all files, to the working machine the monitor shows color within the charts when displaying on the background of the application while it runs but the pdf file shows black and white only for the charts on opening in acrobat after the application terminates (Actually they eventually migrate to blue and white -- a series of charts are being printed to pdf files). Both machines are set up with the same versions of pdf writer (4.0) and acrobat exchange (3.01) and all settings are default.

What's the likely difference? Any clues as to what happened to our color?? We would be grateful for any suggestions.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
