Hello fellow Acro people,

I have a large number (in the 1,000's) of pdf documents that consist mostly of complex technical schematic with some text that describes each part of the schematic. My clients are committed to using the pdf format because it works well for them.

I'm writing an application that automatically generates a report in Word using Rich Text. As one piece of this report, I need to be able to include the proper schematic on the fly as this report is generated from our web server. My question is this: Is there a command line conversion utility/program that can convert pdf's into gif's or jpg's so I can show the whole page image and all? I saw a couple at the pdfstore that convert them one at a time, through a GUI but I need something at the command line level or API.

I'm open to other suggestions also.

Thanks for taking the time to read this,

Phil
