I would like to convert access reports in pdf. It works like a charm with the following code ("c:ywo" is a watched folder from Distiller):
Function ConvertAccessFile() As String
On Error GoTo ErrorHandler
Dim msAccess As Access.Application
Dim strDB As String
Dim strDestinationFile As String
Dim strWatchInPath As String
Set msAccess = CreateObject("Access.Application.8")
strWatchInPath = "c:\ywo\in\"
strDestinationFile = strWatchInPath + "test.ps"
msAccess.Visible = True
strDB = "c:\temp\test.mdb"
Set msAccess = Nothing
ConvertAccessFile = True
My question is:
How can I give to Access an other name for the ps file? I havve seen examples with Powerpoint and Word on www.codecuts.com (Karl de Abrew), as:
' Format the destination filename
strDestinationFile = strWatchInPath + Left(strSourceFile, _
Len(strSourceFile) - 4) + ".ps"
' Print the PPT to a PS file in the watched folder
But til now I didn't find the same in Access.
Can someone shed some light on this problem?
Thanks a lot !!!
