Topic: Couldn't open page 1 in input file

I have created a one page pdf document from WORD using Acrobat distiller.

When I try to open this pdf file from a active server page, I get the error "Couldn't open page 1 in input file!" The code I use is as follows:

Dim form1, page1, font
Dim oPDF
Dim InFileMapped1
Dim lWidth, lHeight
Dim buf

Set oPDF = Server.CreateObject("PDFlib_com.PDF")

' Open new PDF file
oPDF.open_file ""

oPDF.set_info "Creator", "RFC"
oPDF.set_info "Author", "RFC"
oPDF.set_info "Title", "RFC Taxation Statement"

InFileMappedPage1 = Server.MapPath("Taxation.pdf")

form1 = oPDF.open_pdi(InFileMappedPage1, "", 0)
if (form1 = -1) then
Response.write "Couldn't open input file!"
end if

page1 = oPDF.open_pdi_page(form1, 1, "")

if (page1 = -1) then
Response.write "Couldn't open page 1 in input file!"
end if

font = oPDF.findfont("Courier-Bold", "winansi", 0)

The pdf document can be opened OK when you double click on it.

Any ideas would be greatlly appreciated

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
