We have one of those PDF creation libraries, ClibPDF.
Please check it out at www.fastio.com.
C source code is downloadable from this site.
James Walker (www.jwwalker.com) has written a
shareware PDFWriter alternative ($20, I think)
for MacOS using our ClibPDF. It is not quite
as capable as the one from Adobe, but for less than
1/10 of the cost, I believe this is a great deal.
