Topic: Disappearing Text in Form Field - Combo box

Hello,

I have a combo box field that I used javascript to set an 81 item array with in a 2-page form (setItems). When I chose an item in Browse mode, tabbed through to the 2nd page and came back to that field, the text flashed and then the field blanked out.

When you click on the options tab in the properties of the field, the items are listed as if I entered them there. If I go and eliminate the javascript from Forms>Document Javascripts, the items are still listed and the combo box works fine.

Why does this happen? I took this directly out of the Acrobat Forms JavaScript Object Specification version 4.05. Is there any benefit to using javascript to set long list of items?

Thanks
