You appear to be using a different CLSID value than the Code Cuts provided

{ 0x317DA881, 0xECC5, 0x11D1, { 0xB9, 0x76, 0x0, 0x60, 0x08, 0x02,0xDB,0x86
} };

Code Cuts:

{ 0x1CD675B2, 0xECD1, 0x11D1, { 0xB9, 0x76, 0x0, 0x60, 0x08, 0x02, 0xDB,
0x86 } };

Are you using Win98/95 or NT? I found that when I compiled the sample under
NT that it ran under NT but that it would fail under 98 ("invalid class
string"). But the same sample compiled under 98 ran succesfully under 98
(and crashed under NT). Something is definitely amiss with this, I'm not
entirely sure as to why (yet). Perhaps someone else has succesfully worked
through this issue before.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
