Topic: Documenting Form Fields

Folks:

We're adding form-fields to a LARGE collection of PDFs - and it turns out =that we need to "document" these forms by way of creating a database =wherein each record represents a field. We need to capture the field's =name and type, and (ideally) size and short description. Collecting ALL =the form definition data would be an added bonus!

Would someone be able to steer us in the direction of solving this =problem? Parsing an FDF file might work, except that we'd like to =document the fields without data in them... and the FDF doesn't include =empty fields.

Am I missing something blindingly obvious? Seems like documenting a set =of form fields would be a broadly useful application...
