Topic: Dynamically add form fields to a PDF?

Has anyone out there successfully automated adding form fields to an existing PDF through the Forms API?
That IS what it is for right??

I need my windows app to automatically add a 'last page' with 2 form fields and document level script to exisiting PDFs.

I am not doing this myself, I just need to know if it can happen, so the I can conifdently request that the application developers figure it out and incorporate the functionality.

I am looking at the Forms API manual and I see this:

OLE Automation Methods :

Description:Adds a new field “on-the-fly” to the Acrobat form and to the
Fields collection.
Syntax: LPDISPATCH Add (LPCTSTR bstrFieldName, LPCTSTR bstrFieldType,
short pageNum, float left, float top, float right,
float bottom);
Description:dds a document-level JavaScript function to the PDF file.
Syntax: void AddDocJavascript (LPCTSTR bstrScriptName,
LPCTSTR bstrTheScript);

Which makes me beleive my need can be met :)

What do you think?

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
