Hi All,
I'm having problems converting word documents to PDF.

Using Acrobat v4.0, Win 2000 spk2, Word 2000 sr1

I've written a vb6 program to automate the conversion of word doc's to pdf. I developed and tested the program on my machine with no problems.

I've now moved it on to the above pc (both are the same, only mine has MS Visual Studio) and I'm hitting a problem.

Basically the VB program is called by another application which passes it a source file and path name, and a destination file and path name.

The program writes this information to the registry under the PDFWriter key, opens word and prints the source file to the PDFWriter printer. Works on my PC no probs. On the pc I've moved the writer and program to, the vb program opens word and starts to print to the PDFWriter and then just hangs. I've looked at the event viewer on this machine and get the following message:

Document X, Microsoft Word - Y.doc owned by Z, was deleted on Acrobat PDFWriter.

Where X = Document number , Y = Document Name, Z = user logged in.

I've chacked PDFWriter security and other settings, which are all correct and similiar to as how I had them. I don't understand, both machines are the same !!!
