Can a pdf file have both landscape and portrait sections?
I have a series of Excel Files that have sections to be printed in both portrait and landscape mode using automation. These are 500+ legacy produced text files with embedded printer control code. I find where the page breaks are in the printer control codes, strip out the control codes, set it to a line printer font and then will print these out as PDF Files using some code and ideas that I got from Codecuts.
However, the section A1:K30 of the Excel file needs to be printed in landscape mode and the sections A31:H75 and A32:H130 need to be printed in portrait mode. They are all in the same tab.
I am running into problems when I print to the Adobe Distiller. I need an idea so I can take the individual sections, set them in the proper orientation of 1 landscape, 2 portrait sheets in the PDF output. Naming the areas to be printed is already done, so I can make use of them if necessary.
