Topic: Finding text and creating a bookmark

I'm trying to create an interface that inserts bookmarks into a document created by PDFWriter or Distiller. The way I thought about doing this is to create a plug-in that opens the document and searches for predetermined text, selects the text, and then creates the bookmark. I've figured out how to create a bookmark in the bookmark tree, but I haven't been able to figure out how to make the bookmark goto the defined page.

The other problem that I'm having is figuring out is it is possible to programically get Acrobat to find and highlight text within a document.

I've also haven't been able to get my plug-in to create a bookmark that work. I can get the bookmark to show up in the bookmark pane, but when you click on the bookmark it doesn't take you to the document location. The code I'm using is attached.

Should I use a plug-in or would I be better off using VB. Help, please!?!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
