Ladies and Gentleman,
First let me introduce myself, I am Tim Hallett, president of Kanwa Translation, Technical Writing and Consulting in Bartlett, IL, I have a client who is a major global manufacturing concern. They are experiencing a problem with implementing a PDF solution due to the fact that they have large volumes of legacy information in Japanese and Chinese Interleaf format written in non-embeddable TTC fonts. They have contracted for custom-made embeddable fonts to replace the old fonts, but the replacement is a time consuming manual process. The documentation runs into the hundreds of thousands of pages. I have proposed the development of an Acrobat plug in to automatically parse the post script data and replace the old-non embeddable fonts with either the custom fonts, or other Acrobat-compatible fonts. Is anyoune experienced and/or capable of assisting us in this project? Your prompt reply is appreciated.
