I am busy developing a solution to a problem for one of our customers who has requested as part of their problem to output a PDF document to a web page. This PDF document needs to include an ID field retrieved from a database. I need to know what I need and how to solve my problem. To help explain the scenario I will outline each step that needs to be completed.

1. Client requests HTML form.
2. Client enters data into HTML form which is posted to a database and given a unique ID.
3. When the data is posted in step 2, a PDF document needs to be opened in the browser which includes as part of its data the ID field generated in the database.
4. User prints off PDF document.

The scenario seems quite simple, and I have previously done the very same task using Oracle Reports 2.5 which can be converted to a PDF using the Oracle WEB Server. What products do I need to accomplish this task without Oracle Products.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
