Topic: HELP!! Acrobat VS. Acrobat Reader
Conf: (P-PDF) Developers, Msg: 53645

I'm working in Macromedia Director 8, on Win2k. I am unable to launch PDF files from director with the Full version of Acrobat 4 installed. It works FINE if I uninstall Acrobat and install only Reader. The code works fine with Reader only and fine if I try and launch any other type of file.

This only happens with the Full Version installed.

I am using BuddyAPI's baOpenFile command, but have also tried various other ways such as standard "open with" command in Director. I don't know what else to try, UnInstalling Acrobat is not an acceptable solution to our client unless there is Documentation that supports this.

HELP!!
Thanks in Advance,
-Paul Bradley
