Topic: Help!. Having problems with merging and populating

I am having weird problems with Active PDF Toolkit. I have written to their tech support but they have not gotten back to me. I am on a tight deadline and I am stuck. I tried everything.
the following is my problems.
In summary, we are trying to merge multiple documents((4 or 5) depending on business rules into one big document, and then take that merged big document and fill out all the fields in the document. We are doing everything in MEMORY(no writing to IIS is allowed) and once we are done we are writing the populated document to SQL image field. We then pull it out of the image field in SQL database and serve it to browser.
We have the following issues;
1 -) In Adobe 5, when we serve it to browser and I try to edit the fields that are named the same in different sections of the document, I constantly crash. Once I rename the field everyhting is ok.
2-) In adobe 4 and 5, Some of the text in the fields are bold some of them are not bold when we serve it to browser I checked the properties of the fields and they are all the same.(I used Helvetica-Bold in every form field in pdf forms) We cannot understand why some of them are bold and some are not.
3-) In adobe 4 reader, when I open up the final document in browser(or if I save it from browser to my local machine), it seems like 1 2 fields are filled out, the rest is blank, but actually I know they are not blank because when I click on those blank fields the data in them shows up and when I click on another field they disappear again. It is as if they are in white font color when I click on them I see the data and then they disappear as soon as I click on another field. But they are there and the font is set black. What is going on?
These are our major issues.
Can you give us any suggestion as to what we are doing wrong here???? Is it correct to merge multiple documents with fields in them and then populate??? (we are setting the readonlyonmerge property to false before we merge documents with fields in them, if we take out readonlyonmerge nothing really changes) or Should we populate them first and then merge the documents??? Again everything is done in memory and I am keeping all the docs as binary in variant variables in VB when I merge them.
I would appreciate any help, as I tried everything possible.
