When we email a PDF file to a customer who doesn't have the Acrobat Reader, the file shows up as a text file and opens in Notepad displaying just a bunch of garbage text. If the customer is not familiar with PDF files, they don't know that they have to go to adobe.com and download the free reader to view the file. Is there away that we can have it so that if the cusomter doesn't have the adobe reader, instead of opening the file in notepad, they get a message telling them to download the Reader?
