I have created several thousand of .ps files I
downloaded as a big Text file from the Legacy system
reports. Then a Perl program split the big text file
into individual report and creating DCS Postscript
format (So the Adobe distiller can understand.)
with the .ps extension and placed in Watch IN folder.
As soon as I start the Distiller with a specific
selection of job option, It converts all the ps file
into .pdf files.

Now I have several thousand of pdf files. Is there a
way to add the pdf document information
programatically? (Author, Keyword, Title ... all the
document information ? I do not want to edit each and
every pdf file.

Can I preset Distiller with document info defaults to
apply to all ??


I am also having problem with fonts. In my postscript
file I have used Courier. French characters on the
report showing okay in the text file as well as in PS
file. Distiller converts those french chars with a
funny character.

Any advice I should use or select any specific font
and settiing. I have Windows 2000 machine, Acrobat
4.05 running.


Any help would be greatly appreciated.
