Topic: How to use 'PDEObjectDump' method ?

Hi,
I use Acrobat SDK 4.0 R2 and I don't know how to use "PDEObjectDump"(Acrobat SDK's method).

void PDEObjectDump (PDEObject obj, ASInt32 levels,
PDEObjectDumpProc proc, void* clientData);

This method explained following (Acrobat Core API OverView).
/* Dump the content object */
PDEContent pdecontent;
...
PDEObjectDump((PDEObject)pdecontent, 10,
ASCallbackCreateProto(PDEObjectDumpProc,
myPDEObjectDumpProc), NULL);
...
/* Dump callback function */
ACCB1 void ACCB2 myPDEObjectDumpProc(PDEObject
pdeobject, char* dumpInfo, void* clientData)
{
/* Output the data to a file */
FILE *f;
f=fopen(":PDEObjectDump.txt", "a");
if (f) {
fprintf(f, "%s\n", dumpInfo);
fclose(f);
}
}

This method's first parameter "PDEObject obj" is how to create or
how to get?

I created "PDEObject obj" following but I caught "Parameter is
incorrectly" error.

PDDoc pdDoc = PDDocCreate();
PDPage pdPage = PDDocAcquirePage(pdDoc, 0);
PDEContent pdeContent =
PDPageAcquirePDEContent(pdPage, gExtensionID);

FixedMatrix m;
PDEGraphicState gstateP;
PDSysFont f;
PDEText pdeText = PDETextCreate();
PDEFont pdeFont = PDEFontCreateFromSysFont(f, 0);
PDETextAdd(
pdeText,
kPDETextRun,
0,
(unsigned char*)"Hello World!",
6,
pdeFont,
&gstateP,
sizeof(gstateP),
NULL,
0,
&m,
NULL
);
PDEContentAddElem(
pdeContent,
kPDEAfterLast,
(PDEElement)pdeText
);
PDERelease((PDEObject)pdeText);
Fixed pathData[6]; //array for path elements
pathData[0] = kPDEMoveTo; //moveto operator
pathData[1] = Int32ToFixed(10); // x
pathData[2] = Int32ToFixed(100); // y
pathData[3] = kPDELineTo; //lineto operator
pathData[4] = Int32ToFixed(400); // x
pathData[5] = Int32ToFixed(100); // y
PDEPath pdePath = PDEPathCreate();
PDEPathSetPaintOp(pdePath, kPDEStroke);
PDEPathSetData(pdePath, pathData, 4*6);
PDEContentAddElem(
pdeContent,
kPDEAfterLast,
(PDEElement)pdePath
);
PDERelease((PDEObject)pdePath);
PDPageSetPDEContent(pdPage, gExtensionID);
PDPageReleasePDEContent(pdPage, gExtensionID);
PDPageRelease(pdPage);

Thanks.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
