I have established a series of associated .pdf documents in which I have linked them by an index file. This allows for me to perform a search throughout my documents. I have also created a main index page in which a viewer of the document can initiate a search using a button. For this button I have javascripting which adds the desired index once it is pushed. However often times through navigation this index opens more than one time and the search provides duplicate results. I have been attempting to edit this flaw by using code which will close the index prior to opening it again. However I am having errors indicating my parameter is incorrect. For example:
my index is called (PipingStandards2002.pdx)
The code I have entered to close this index is as follows:

My attempt has been unsuccessful. The version I am using is Acrobat5.0

Thank you,
