Hi all,

After a year of endless frustration with the state of Acrobat's javascript editor, I couldn't take it anymore and decided to take matters into my own hands. As a result I have developed an Acroform/javascript based improved PDF javascript editor/project manager.

Development is presently in final beta, and release is expected early in the new year/millennium. If you have experience in Acroforms and PDF javascripting and are interested in testing this new product (plus you'll get to use it before everyone else) then contact me at: to make arrangements. There are no contracts to sign, no NDAs, no gag orders. It might just be the most fun you've ever had testing a product.

Note: The product has already been extensively tested on the Win95 platform and is very robust. There are no known major bugs, and since everything is self contained in the Acrobat environment, there is nothing to interfere with your system or other apps. This application requires the full retail version of Acrobat 4. It doesn't work with Reader or Exchange 3.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
