I need a solution for placing pdf art onto another pdf page. My client is providing a PDF of their documents. Originally, the document had tabs inserted for chapter breaks. A cost saving solution we offered them was to place 'bleed tabs' on each page. A bleed tab is a solid box about 2" x .5" placed in 4 tab positions along the bottom of the page. Each bleed tab has the chapter title on it. Example: Every page in Chapter 1 will have the black box with the words Chapter One on it in the same position and so on.
The only way I could figure out how to do this was to make the bleed tab file in Quark, make a PDF of it and copy and paste the tab art onto each page. This solution is ok, but time consuming and not very accurate for positioning. I would like to find a solution that would automatically place the tab art I specify onto the same position of each page in a range of pages. Similar to Quite Imposing's Stick on page numbers. I would just be sticking on tab art. Please help me if you can. I need to find something. Thanks.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
