Topic: Merging PDF using C. Any Examples???

I posted this message in the Beginners Forum. but occurred to me that I should also post it here. Being new to forums is that acceptable? or is it an unnecessary event?

I am very new to PDF and have been tasked with creating a C program that will take multiple PDF file and merge them together. This can be accomplished by using the Adobe APIs (PDDocOpen, PDDocInsert, ....) but I don't see where were I can get all of the related pieces to create a program. Like do I need to initialize the Adobe tools, do I open the files first, what other things do I need to do. All of this will be done in an unattended environment. Are there sample programs available I can use as a guideline. I would appreciate any help with this. Thanks in advance.

I was told this was/is being done on a Sun Solaris server. Is there any code samples of how to do this on an NT server?

Thanks for your help.

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
