Topic: Method '~' of object '~' Failed

I have a bit of a problem. I have an ActiveX exe written in VB6 that uses early-binding to distill some PostScript into PDF. This works quite well for me under Acrobat 4 or 5 in the development center, but at the customer site (Acrobat 5) it goes to sleep for some time and then receives "Method '~' of object '~' failed. It did work at this customer site for some time and then started to fail. I've had some similar problems in the past when using IAC when a customer failed to register (with ADOBE) acrobat (it would try to pop-up the registration screen but was not running under the desktop at the time). The customer has verified that none of the ADOBE products are making any such prompts when run from the desktop. A code excerpt is below

Dim Distiller as ACRODISTXLib.PdfDistiller
On Error GoTo ErrorHandler
Set Distiller = CreateObject("PdfDistiller.PdfDistiller.1")
Distiller.bSpoolJobs = False
Distiller.bShowWindow = False
ITransform_Transform = False
If Distiller.FileToPDF(pFromFile, pToFile, "") Then
ITransform_Transform = True
End If
Set Distiller = Nothing
Exit Function
