I have about 1000 pdf's representing a client's electronic catalog; one item per pdf; each pdf about 3 to 4 pages in length. Initially, I combined all
the pdf's into one file with Bookmarks which the client distributes on a CD.

The end-user scrolls down the Bookmarks until he finds the product he wants, double-clicks the Bookmark and is taken to it. This has worked fine for the
most part, but my client tells me that when an end-user wants to print out a page, as often as not, they don't read the Print Dialog box and end up printing hundreds of pages and not just the one they want.

My solution to this has been to use the individual pdf pages in an uncombined form and access them from a grid I developed using vsFlexGridPro 6.0. Since each pdf is separate, when the end-user prints them out, they only get the desired pdf. Everything has gone swimmingly until today when I ran into a pdf (a product description page) which references another pdf (a product photo) in its Bookmarks.

My program works fine displaying the initial pdf, but when I click on the Photo Bookmark, I get nothing. In native Acrobat or Reader, the Bookmark works fine and displays the photo. I've tried moving the photo pdf into the vb directory thinking that there might be a path error, but that has not worked either.

Anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,

Rick
