Topic: newline character in stream doesn't work

Dear Developers,

I am trying to figure out how to insert a newline (\n,\r) or any other escape sequence characters inside my stream so I can have carraige returns in my streams and have pdf know when to break into another line. What happens when I put in a \n is that the for one it doesn't start another line and it leaves a space where the \n appears. I've pasted my object below, is there something I'm not doing correctly hear? Is this even possible? Because the pdf spec says that these escape sequences are available.

thanks for the help in advance!!!
