Topic: Opening an online word doc from a local pdf

I'm trying to set up a form button in acrobat that will open a word doc that resides on a web site (not local) the action I'm using is World Wide Web link, and the address is http://www.mysite.com/mydoc.doc

The browser opens up but then I get a dialog box that says;
ENTER NETWORK PASSWORD

Please enter your authentification information

Resource: http//http://www.mysite.com/mydoc.doc

User Name: _____
Password: ______

Now if I hit the "Cancel" button, it opens up the word doc in the browser window.

I can get this to work when I point to a file that's local. The word doc is not in a secure area either.

Any knots on the noggin are most appreciated!

Thanks

Mike
