Part II If it looks like the PDF and the FDF have to be on the user's local C drive. I changed my call from the ASP to call the PDF as such "URL=file://d:/asp/test5.pdf". I copied the FDF to the same location d:\asp\fdata.fdf
In my local test5.pdf I coded in the open page call to do an ImportAnFDF("fdata.fdf")
Now...if I bring up the form in my Acrobat (not browser) it imports the data into the form immediately, no problem. If I go from my ASP it brings up the PDF in the browser/Reader but does not find the FDF and queues me for its location. I've tried various ways to qualify the file fdata.fdf that resides at d:\asp\ but each time the browser/Reader cannot find the file.
If this is the way I have to go what do I need to do to get the FDF to cooperate? Any suggestions as to how to FTP the FDF file down to the local drive and then back up to the server without the user having to get involved?
