Topic: PDBookmark lifespan

Does anyone know the lifespan of a PDBookmark? That is, if I make a private copy of a PDBookmark when a document is opened, can I count on that PDBookmark continuing to be valid until the document is closed?
The situation: when a document is opened, I copy all of the bookmark titles and PDBookmarks into a private list. I allow the user to navigate the document by picking from that private list. When the user picks from the list, a fair amount of time may have passed since the document was opened. I want to grab the PDBookmark from my private list and do things such as calling PDBookmarkGetAction so that I can execute the action.
I register for all of the bookmark-related events and alter or abandon my private list of bookmarks as appropriate. I am concerned that as memory is needed the structure associated with my PDBookmark may be purged even though the bookmark itself continues to exist.
Does anyone have any knowledge about how long I can count on a PDBookmark to live?
