I've got a requirement wherein a PDF file is to be
generated with values taken from the database. After
generating this PDF file, a few digital signatures should
be attached to the PDF document automatically (meaning, no
user interaction)

Just in case needed, we'll initially be using Delphi for
this. We found a component that allows us to create the
report format visually, then save the file as PDF. As such,
my concern (for now, at least) is on how to "gather" the
digital signatures (or certificates) and attach or insert
it to the PDF file. Eventually, this whole process will be
ported over to Java.

Any information / suggestion is greatly appreciated.
