Topic: PDF Filename using Distiller

I am looking for a way to specify the name of the output file from Distiller without being prompted. I am aware that you can turn off the ability of Distiller to prompt you, but then the filename is out of your control and takes on the name of the document you are printing. It's been suggested using a printer like the Apple Laserwriter and printing to a Postscript file but again, it appears there is no way to not be prompted for the filename; the exception to this appears to be in PowerPoint. If this method really works this would seem to be the simplest approach. Our use is in printing a report from Access using VBA as the programming environment. I do not want to use the PDFWriter, even though you can specify the filename with some straight forward VB & API programming, because there is no way to automatically apply security to the PDF file like you can with the Distiller job options file without using a plug-in or an OLE program and having Acrobat running all the time. Can anyone help and have an example of what they did?
