I have an application looping through a result set from a database query:
i.e. Select * from company where conum between 3000 and 3005 order by conum
I take the data for each "row" returned and create an fdf file which I then immediately print via a ShellExecute with the print verb
The code continues on to the next row and does the same.
I need the jobs to print out in the order issued. However, they are coming out in any order they want.
Is there any way programmatically to know after issuing a print on xx file if it has done its thing so I can wait for the "done" before I let the code continue on. I don't want to rely on a "timer" to pause the code before moving on.
Any constructive ideas/thoughts are welcomed.
Thanks in advance.
