I have a Quark file with some 3rd party Type 1 fonts.
When I create a PS file in ASCII format and distill as
ASCII format PDF the fonts encode as custom, which
means I cant edit any text strings in the ASCII PDF
However when I use PDF Writer the fonts encode as built
in and I can edit the ASCII text strings.
I cant use PDF writer because my PDF's need to be repro
Does anyone know why PDF Writer and Distiller treat the
font encoding differently, I need the font encoding of
PDF Writer with the functionality of Distiller.
Any guru's out there know the score????.
