Topic: PDF's crashing when 'wheel scrolling' while in IE

I have a problem with scrolling with the mouse wheel through PDF's when using Acrobat Reader 4.05c, IE5 and the most current MS Intellipoint mouse drivers, with 'Web Browser Integration' enabled (using Acrobat Reader from within Internet Explorer). Wheel scrolling when used with other application does not pose any such issues.

When I navigate to a PDF file on the web or our corporate Intranet and attempt to scroll through the doc with the wheel mouse it either stops responding all together or errors with "There was a problem reading this document (14)", yet you can successfully 'page down' through a document. This is with "Web Browser Integration" enabled. If this option is turned off and you click a link to a PDF, the Reader program opens separately and you can successfully scroll using the mouse wheel.

I have replicated this issue in the following environments:
Win95a, IE4, AR4.05a
Win95a, IE4, AR4.05c
Win95b, IE4, AR4.05c
WinNT4, IE4, AR4.05c
WinNT4, IE5, AR4.05c.

Any ideas on how to resolve this issue would be greatly appreciated.
