Would like to find somebody willing to create an Acrobat Reader Plug-In. The plug-in will be used for a PDF which is on a CD, and it is basically a brand identity CD-ROM we're creating. The plug-in needs to be Mac & Win "client" based. The authoring may be on either platform. The functionality we're looking to achieve is so that when a user clicks on an image in the PDF (a thumbnail of a picture or a logo), a dialog box would appear asking the user where they would like the actual EPS/TIF/etc copied to.

Said another way, the plug-in would basically be considered a link, and the data the link would contain would be a relative path of an external file. When the link is clicked, the plug-in asks the user where to put the external file, and then the plug-in would copy that file to the user specified location.

If somebody's willing to explore this with me I'd appreciate hearing from you via direct email!

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
