I would greatly appreciate suggestions from C++/
ActiveX folks for the following:

I would like to "silently" print PDF files from a
C++ dll. What are the possibilities ?

I have the Acrobat ActiveX control (pdf.ocx) on
my machine. I am able to use this control from
VB to (effortlessly) print a PDF file.
Pdf1.LoadFile ("c:\\acrguide.pdf")
Pdf1.printAll() -- that's all !

However, I can't do the same from my C++ program.

I used MS Visual C++-->View->ClassWizard->Add Class From a Type Library to add the pdf.ocx into my existing
C++ project. This generates Pdf.h and Pdf.cpp files.
(where class _DPdf : public COleDispatchDriver).

The code is:
HRESULT hr = CoInitialize(NULL);
hr = CLSIDFromString(L"{CA8A9780-280D-11CF-A24D-444553540000}", &refID);

_DPdf *pdf = new _DPdf();
pdf->CreateDispatch(refID, NULL);
delete pdf;

The code craps out when pdf->LoadFile is invoked.
CreateDispatch returns OK.
(LoadFile and printAll are in the pdf.ocx).

Any suggestions ? Am I missing anything ?

Thanks & Regards

Adding a PDF Stamp Comment

OK, so you want to stamp your document. Maybe you need to give reviewers some advice about the document's status or sensitivity. This tip from author Ted Padova demonstrates how to add stamps with the Stamp Tool along with related comments.
